Artists Harikrishnan Panicker and Deepti Nair, better known as Hari & Deepti have released a new collection of their backlit paper sculptures entitled “Oh, the Places You Will Go!” The name taken from the classic book by Dr. Seuss refers to the couple’s recently completed trip around the American West.
During that time they visited areas like Yellowstone and Moab, Utah. The inspiration from these places is clearly evident in their paper cut light boxes, with the scenes straight out of mysterious but beautiful fantasy worlds. If you remember the past feature we did on their art, this is a recurring theme.
Hari & Deepti’s backlit paper sculptures are currently being exhibited at The Black Book Gallery in Denver through September 27th.
