Case of the Ma’Claim Crew Paints Indoor Mural in Basel, Switzerland

German street artist Case took a break from his work with the Ma’Claim crew to complete this fantastic indoor mural in Basel, Switzerland.

As per his usual technique, the artist has painted a set of hands in a hyper-realistic style. His style is explained on his artist statement:

[Case] focuses on the body which he abstracts from its human origin to give way for narrative, monstrous, animalistic or mythic elements. The usual ideal of beauty is replaced by bizarre-controversial characteristics, vexing but simultaneously fascinating.

If you’re in the Basel area, the mural by Case can be found in the Novotel Hotel parking garage. Check out more of his work by following him on Facebook of by visiting his website.
