Giant Angry Man Crawls Out of the Ground in Budapest

Be on the lookout for a giant angry man in Budapest! This magnificent large-scale sculpture by artist Ervin Loránth Hervé put fright into attendees of the Art Market Budapest contemporary art fair that completed earlier this month.

The sculpture, entitled “Feltépve” (meaning quite appropriately, “Ripped Up”), was constructed out of polystyrene. Things took a couple of days longer than planned for the artist, as getting the underlying ground leveled properly provided some challenges.

Unfortunately, the giant angry man was only a temporary installation and as such was removed earlier this week so visitors to Hungary will have to find a new place for their selfies. But he lives on in our hearts…
