As part of their ongoing effort to connect the worlds of art and skate with local communities, skate sneaker maker Vans has opened a massive skatepark and creative space beneath London’s Waterloo Station they’re calling the House of Vans London.
Modeled after a similar space in Brooklyn, the 3000 sq. meter underground park is comprised of 5 tunnels. Carefully planned pool-style bowls, mini-ramps, and sprawling street sections fill the indoor skatepark. Between runs, skaters can make relax in the cinema, cafe, or a selection of bars.
Art was also a priority for the underground park, with four art studios available for use free of charge. The endless amount of brick walls will serve as perfect displays for completed works.
