Some of the most beautiful cities in the world have been seemingly overrun by advertisements, a casualty perhaps of our modern consumer age. Even historical cities with history overflowing such as Paris and Milan have not been immune. French artist Etienne Lavie saw this, and sought to find out what they would look like if it were up to her to fix this situation. Instead of a Coke advertisement, how about a nice Renoir? Or maybe that subway could use a nice watercolor rather than a slogan for the latest, greatest weight loss pill.
