Architect Envisions Paris’ Notre Dame Clad in Mirrors

Russian architect Vasily Klyukin has created a vision of a modern update to the historic Notre Dame in Paris.

Adding full cladding in mirrors and two high-reaching spires, he updates the classic building while maintaining its basic form.

His spires continue an idea formed during original construction which was ultimately not acted upon, allowing us an idea of what might have been.

With highly reflective glass and spires common aspects of 21st century architecture, Vasily’s design provides us a look at what the building may have looked like if it were constructed in modern times.
